Business logistics usually focus either focus in inbound logistics ( Internal logistics ) or outbound logistics ( external focus). The functions of logistic managements include inventory management, warehousing, transport, and organization.
When the term, logistics, refers in the industry, it is called, “Production logistics”. The goal of production is to ensure that the machine will be fed the right product at the the right time. In production logistics, the meaning of logistics does not refer to transportation. It usually refers to the streamline of manufacturing process.
